Guidance about the clear and consistent assessment of value for money for officials putting submissions to DfT ministers about investment decisions and choices.

Motoring and Freight Services Group Corporate Governance Framework

This document sets out the governance arrangements for the Motoring and Freight Services Group which consists of 3 HQ directorates and 5 agencies. It is designed to replace individual agency framework documents. It therefore describes briefly the work of the Group’s directorates and agencies, the relative roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of key personnel, the legislative framework under which the agencies operate and the relationship between the agencies and the central department.
